Vikings Gone Wild Ultimate Set is a deck-building, resource management game for 2–5 players, with games lasting about 70 minutes. Based on an online real-time strategy game, it challenges players to build their realms, improve their decks, and win through successful attacks.

On each turn, players choose how to develop their position. They can buy permanent buildings placed in front of them, including resource factories and resource containers, or acquire units, towers, and special cards that improve their deck and increase their offensive or defensive capacity.

Attacking is central to the game. In fact, the only way to win is by successfully attacking other players. Each attack includes a bluffing mechanism: the attacker does not know the opponent’s defense capacity, creating uncertainty as players weigh their options and commit to their strategy.
