About this board game

Friegas Tú is a 20-minute card game for 2 to 8 players that turns the center of the table into a sink. Players place pot cards from their hands into a shared grid, building a layout of up to 4×4 cards.

Every pot card has a value, so placement requires attention to the totals in both directions. No row or column may add up to more than 7, creating a simple restriction that shapes the growing grid and limits where cards can be played.

On your turn, add a suitable pot card to the sink while keeping the row and column limits in mind. As the grid develops, available placements can become harder to find. If you cannot play, you will have to do the washing up.

Special cards add further changes to the flow of turns, alongside the central challenge of managing card values and the shared layout. The result is a compact tabletop game built around a playful washing-up theme and an easy-to-follow numerical rule.

Released in 2022, Friegas Tú brings up to eight players together around one increasingly crowded sink. Whether you are carefully fitting pot cards into the grid or hoping someone else is the first to run out of options, each game focuses on the same question: can you make your next placement without pushing a row or column over 7?
