About this board game

Murano: Complete Edition is a board game for 2–4 players, with games lasting about 75 minutes. Set in Murano, the small group of islands near Venice famous for glassmaking, it puts gondolas, shops, tourists, and glassworks at the center of play.

The board shows Murano’s seven islands, divided into building sites and walkways, with action spaces surrounding them. On your turn, move one gondola in the direction of play to an empty space, then resolve the action shown there. Gondolas cannot pass one another or land in occupied spaces, although coins let you move a gondola blocking your route—and pay to move multiple gondolas when necessary.

Actions allow you to shape the islands and develop your position. Place different types of shops, mark them to show ownership, and prepare for tourists who later visit stores based on their proximity and the goods they offer. You must also move your personal gondolas to the islands so you can take actions there.

In Murano: Complete Edition, your activity across the islands connects directly to the victory point cards in your hand. Glassworks also contribute through those cards and tourist sales, while a dedicated action space lets you sell glass for money.
