About this board game
Tinco is a fast-paced party game for 3–6 players, with games lasting about 20 minutes. Players trade cards with one another while trying to assemble a set of five cards in the same color.
Card exchanges are only part of the challenge. Each player must also take a token from the center of the board, but there are not enough tokens for everyone. The player left without a token loses one point, adding a tense race to the search for a complete set.
At the end of the round, the player still holding the white card also loses one point. Players who have successfully made a five-card set of the same color each score one point.
- Trade cards between players to build a matching-color set.
- Take a token from the center before they run out.
- Avoid ending the round without a token or with the white card.
- Score points for completing a set of five cards in one color.
The scoring creates competing priorities: completing the right set matters, but so does claiming one of the limited tokens. Keep exchanging cards, watch the other players’ progress, and try to finish each round in the strongest position.
First released in 2011, Tinco offers a compact party-game experience built around quick card trading and simple scoring. The first player to reach 5 points wins, giving every round a clear contribution to the final result.
