About this board game

Nomads is a dreamlike board game for 2–5 players, played in about 45 minutes. Journey across the mysterious land of Luma, meet a nomad camp, and listen as strange stories unfold around the fire.

Each player collects disjointed pieces of stories represented by tiles. On their own, these fragments may seem random, but cleverness and insight can reveal how they belong together. Gather the right story tiles and exchange them for song or legend cards that give meaning to the scattered tales.

The game’s setting is filled with mystery and imagination. A great Shaman passes around a strange potion while the nomads share stories, creating an unusual atmosphere where disconnected legends gradually begin to make sense.

• Collect disjointed story tiles as you explore the tales of Luma.
• Exchange story tiles for song and legend cards.
• Earn points from song and legend cards, as well as opal moon tiles.
• Keep leftover story and joker tiles to a minimum.

At the end of Nomads, players compare the points they have gleaned from their collected songs, legends, and opal moon tiles. Leftover story or joker tiles work against the final result, so gathering thoughtfully matters as much as collecting.

With its focus on assembling fragments into meaningful stories, Nomads offers a distinctive journey through Luma for groups of two to five. The player with the most points—and the fewest leftover story or joker tiles—wins.
