About this board game
Nightfall: Eastern Skies is a strategy deck-building game for 2–5 players, with play lasting about 45 minutes. Set during a worldwide war for the eternal night, it brings the conflict to a bizarre far eastern setting.
In this unusual corner of the world, a fully functional city in India has remained nearly untouched by the Nightfall. Uncontrolled ghouls emerge from the seas, while strange happenings in the skies add to the unsettling situation. These elements form the backdrop for a confrontation between powerful supernatural forces.
Players take control of one of several distinct groups and use their decks to take down an opponent. The available forces include:
- Hunters
- Lycanthropes
- Vampires
- Ghouls
Eastern Skies introduces the new Link mechanism, designed to allow faster play. This addition gives the set its own identity while keeping the focus on strategic deck building and the struggle between its supernatural factions.
Nightfall: Eastern Skies can be played as a standalone game, making it a complete way to experience this strange chapter of the Nightfall war. It can also be combined with other Nightfall sets for enhanced play, expanding the possibilities available across the series.
Released in 2013, Nightfall: Eastern Skies offers a 45-minute strategy game for groups of two to five players, blending deck construction with a dramatic conflict involving Hunters, Lycanthropes, Vampires, and Ghouls.
