About this board game

Inn-Fighting is a Dungeons & Dragons dice game for 3–6 players, with games lasting about 30 minutes. Set in a lively tavern, it turns a simple roll of the dice into a chaotic contest to see who is left standing.

Choose a character and prepare for a brawl filled with treachery, surprising attacks, and plenty of tavern mayhem. Depending on the dice, you might hurl a mug of ale at a warbling bard or smash a chair over a drunken barbarian’s back.

Players trade dice rolls with their friends as the fight unfolds. Every game promises a new and hilarious experience, making Inn-Fighting a compact way to bring the unruly energy of a D&D tavern encounter to the table.

The box includes the essential components for the battle:

  • A rules sheet
  • Six special six-sided dice
  • One twenty-sided die
  • 52 character cards

Designed by Rob Heinsoo, a former Senior Game Designer at Wizards of the Coast, Inn-Fighting comes from the creators of Three-Dragon Ante, the Dungeons & Dragons in-world card game. Heinsoo also co-wrote the Forgotten Realms Campaign Setting and worked on several sets for the Dungeons & Dragons Miniatures Game.

Released in 2007, Inn-Fighting offers a playful combination of character choice, dice-driven conflict, and unpredictable tavern chaos for D&D players and characters alike.
