About this board game

Crime Hotel is a trick-taking deduction game for 3–4 players, with games lasting around 45 minutes. Set in a prestigious mountain hotel, it challenges players to discover which room hides a murderer before the killer can escape.

Each player takes the role of an inspector. The only evidence available is the number of empty rooms in hand, so every card played can help narrow the search. During each round, the players who play the highest and lowest cards earn the chance to guess where the criminal is hiding.

Making a correct deduction is only part of the challenge. You must also play strategically to put yourself in position to make a guess before the other inspectors. Even when you think you know the answer, securing the opportunity to act requires careful card play.

As the game progresses, hotel rooms light up one by one, gradually bringing everyone closer to the truth. The tension rises with every new clue, while guesses become more valuable as their distance from the correct room determines the points earned.
