About this board game

Cloomba is a colourful tile-placement family game for 1–5 players, with a playing time of around 30 minutes. Players become Masters of flowers and butterflies, shaping a beautiful nature environment as they expand their areas.

Build flowerbeds with double-hex tiles decorated with flowers, then place butterflies on them. Your aim is to create meadows: connected flower areas made up of flowers of the same colour. At the end of the game, each meadow scores points based on the number of flowers multiplied by the number of butterflies on it.

Butterflies, however, do not tolerate rivalry. You cannot place a butterfly on a meadow that already contains another butterfly, creating an important challenge as your areas grow. Look for smart, artful ways to keep meadows separate before finding opportunities to unite them.
