Naval Battles: World War II on the High Seas is a fast-paced naval combat card game for 2-6 players, with games lasting around 30 minutes. Each player commands a fleet of World War II ships and seeks to sink the ships controlled by opposing players.

At the start of the game, each player chooses a fleet from the available Ship cards. These cards represent the vessels used to launch attacks during play. Players also receive Action cards, which are played from their hands to support the unfolding naval battle.

The game features both surface vessels and submarines from six World War II nations. This gives players a broad selection of fleets drawn from the naval forces of the era.
