Time Bomb

Time Bomb is a fast card game for 3–8 players, designed to play in around 20 minutes. A bomb sits at the center of the table, displaying the number of seconds remaining before it explodes.

On each turn, a player must play a card. The countdown may increase, but it will very often decrease, creating a constantly changing race against zero. When the counter reaches 0 or less, the bomb explodes immediately.

The player who played the final card loses a life point. The other players then have a chance to escape, but the slowest player loses a life point as well. Every turn can therefore change who is most at risk when the countdown ends.

• A central bomb tracks the remaining seconds.
• Cards can increase or decrease the countdown.
• The player who triggers the explosion loses a life point.
• After the explosion, the slowest escaping player also loses a life point.
• Special bombs and cards add further effects.

With its short play time and simple countdown premise, Time Bomb focuses the table on a single question: who will be caught when the timer reaches zero? Players must take their turns while watching the bomb, the changing counter, and the consequences of playing the final card.

Released in 2016, this compact card game combines a visible countdown with special bombs and special-effect cards. The result is a quick game built around timing, sudden changes, and the risk of being the player left closest to the explosion.
