About this board game

Fluff is a bluffing and bidding dice game for 2–4 players, with play lasting about 30 minutes. Roll, peek, and judge the table as you try to outlast every other player.

Each player shakes dice in a palm-fitted rolling cup, then secretly checks their own results. The opening player names a quantity and value, such as “4 threes,” claiming that many of the same number appear across all players’ hands.

On your turn, you must raise the current bid by increasing the quantity, the value, or both. You can also challenge the latest claim by calling “Fluff!” If the revealed dice contain at least the stated number, the challenger loses a die. If the bid is too high, the bidder loses one instead.

Players may even call “Fluff!” when it is not their turn, but this riskier challenge can cost the caller two dice if they are wrong. The bidder still loses only one die when the challenge proves correct, making timing and confidence essential.

• Rolling cups: Palm-sized cups support poker-style peeking.
• Critter-adorned dice: Add a wild-style twist to encourage bolder bidding.
• Elimination play: Lose dice one at a time until only one player remains.

After losing a die, a player sets it aside for everyone to see and rolls again with their remaining dice. The player who lost the die starts the next round with the opening bid. Lose your last die and you are out; the final player with dice wins.
