About this board game

2GM Pacific is a tabletop wargame for 1–4 players, with an average play time of 90 minutes, recreating battles between the United States and the Empire of Japan in the Pacific Theatre of World War II.

This standalone expansion requires no previous edition to play. Its revised and updated components include the game board, rulebook, solo mode, artwork, and tokens, providing a complete experience for exploring the conflict across a large battlefield.

The game features a strong army-building element. Cards represent military units and the different actions they can perform, while extra gear tokens allow units to be upgraded during the battle. Players fight in turns until one side fulfills its victory conditions, managing the resources provided by its nation and using the terrain to their advantage.

A highly immersive Campaign Book includes historical scenarios spanning the Pacific War. Defend the Philippines against the Japanese attack, fight in Guadalcanal, land at Tarawa, advance through the jungle of Saipan, retake the Philippines, survive Iwo Jima, and face the brutal battles of Okinawa.
