About this board game

Bugs on Rugs is a casual set-collection game for 2–5 players that plays in about 20 minutes. Players draft bugs from the Floor, collect them in their hands, and work toward the most valuable collection by the end of the game.

Nine different bug types are crawling across beautiful rugs, and each one scores in its own way. Ants prefer to travel in big colonies, fireflies love bright rug colors, and spiders keep watch for juicy flies. Your challenge is to bring together sets that satisfy the different scoring possibilities presented by these creepy crawlers.

On each turn, players choose bugs from the Floor and add them to their hands. At the end of every round, one bug remains behind. That leftover bug crawls onto the Wall, where its unique power activates and changes the situation for the next part of the game.

• Drafting: Select bugs from the Floor to build your hand.
• Set collection: Create combinations using nine different bug types.

When the game ends, players reveal their bug collections and compare their scores. The winner is the player who has made the most valuable hand of creepy crawlers.
