About this board game

Fast Forward: FORTUNE is a 15-minute card game for 3–5 players about spinning reels, taking risks, and scoring more points than your opponents.

Three reels are spinning and the tension is rising as you chase the next high score. However, big numbers alone are not enough to secure victory: you also need the right bonus points. The game is about more than money, as you compete to finish with a higher score than everyone else.

FORTUNE is designed for players who are prepared to take risks while pursuing a new high score. Each decision keeps the focus on the balance between ambitious scoring and the bonuses that can make the difference at the end.

Like the other games in the Fast Forward series, FORTUNE uses the Fable Game system introduced in Fabled Fruit. You can begin without reading a rules booklet: take a presorted deck of cards, gather some fellow gamers, and discover the cards and rules as you play.

It takes around 10–15 games of FORTUNE for a group to explore the entire system. Once everything has been discovered, the game can be reset and played again by the same group or by different groups.

Released in 2018, Fast Forward: FORTUNE is the fourth game in the Fast Forward series—and a completely different experience from the games that came before it.
