About this board game
Link It 4 is a dice-driven race for 2–4 players that takes about 20 minutes. Roll, place, and stack roof tokens as you try to create a visible line of four before anyone else.
On your turn, roll five dice up to five times. You may keep dice and reroll others, aiming to match the dice combinations shown on spaces of the game board. The number of times you roll affects where you can place your roof token.
- After rolling five times, you may place a roof only on an empty space.
- After rolling four times, you may place a roof on an empty space or on a space with one roof already there.
- If you cannot place a roof anywhere, discard one from your supply.
Every roof changes the board, creating stacks and new opportunities for future turns. A player wins immediately upon forming a line of four visible roof tokens, either diagonally or orthogonally.
There is another instant-win route: occupy all three jackpot spaces with your roof tokens. Each jackpot space requires a five-of-a-kind, and the tokens count no matter where they are within the stacks.
If all players run out of tokens without meeting either winning condition, the game ends with scoring. Roof tokens are worth points based on their level: a roof at the fifth level scores 5 points, one at the fourth level scores 4 points, and so on. The highest score wins. Debuting as Cuatro, Link It 4 combines dice combinations, limited placement options, stacking, and multiple paths to victory.
