O.P. Arena

About this board game

O.P. Arena is a battle royale for 2–6 players that takes about 45 minutes, featuring over eighty unique characters and a fight for 30 or more victory points. Every character is overpowered, and the arena is built for absurd matchups, rapid defeats, and spectacular chains of abilities.

Use your characters to damage and destroy your opponents’ dudes. A kill is worth 3 VP, while players who dealt the most and second-most damage to a defeated character earn 2 VP and 1 VP respectively. Even a single point of damage can be enough to claim the killing blow and score the most points.

• Kill a dude to earn 3 VP.
• Score 2 VP for dealing the most damage to a dude who dies, or 1 VP for second-most damage.
• Earn tokens to nerf other dudes’ abilities and shields to protect abilities.
• Manage your three starting re-roll cubes carefully; once they are gone, they are gone.

Don’t get too attached to your fighters: they will die, often quickly, but new ones will carry on the battle. Choosing abilities that trigger on low numbers and high numbers can help keep your options open, while timing and damage placement can matter as much as brute strength.

Expect matchups such as an Unhappy Cthulhu against a Helpless Bunny, a Coal-fired Robot of Doom against a Little Girl, or a Rabid War Bear against an Animated Chicken Bone. With thousands of possible pairings and some of the craziest chaining combos in a game, O.P. Arena delivers pure, ridiculous fun until one player reaches 30 or more VP and wins.
