Pipoca

About this board game

Pipoca is an 18-card micro climbing game for 1–2 players, with a typical play time of 10 minutes. Its compact format makes it easy to play without a table or much space.

The goal is simple: get rid of all your cards. During play, you can put down melds and upgrade your cards whenever your opponent beats them, creating a compact contest over the cards in your hand.

Passing has an important twist. Previously discarded cards return to your hand when you pass, so choosing when to continue and when to pass directly affects what you can play next.

The first player to go out wins the round. The overall winner is the first player to win two out of three rounds, giving each match a clear three-round structure.
