About this board game

Hissy Fit is a cooperative card game for 1–4 players that takes about 20 minutes to play. You and your partner—or the group—are humans trying to guide a resistant cat along the path and into its carrier before time runs out.

Use Human Cards to plan carefully coordinated actions. Treats, distractions, wound-dressing, and strategic combos can help you overcome the cat’s defenses and steadily move it toward safety. Success depends on choosing your actions thoughtfully and working together.

Every turn brings new trouble as Cat Cards make the cat run, hide, scratch, or have a total conniption. The situation can change quickly, so your team must adapt while protecting itself from the cat’s increasingly dramatic resistance.

The humans win by guiding the cat into the carrier in time. However, three full-blown Hissy Fits give the cat the victory, while suffering five scratches also ends the attempt in defeat. In Hissy Fit, every decision matters as you balance progress, preparation, and the risks of getting too close to a very unhappy cat.
