Across The Narva: The Soviet Assault on Estonia, February 1944 is a two-player operational wargame covering the first three months of the Narva Bridgehead campaign. A game turn represents one week, and play can last from 4 to 15 hours, or up to 600 minutes.

The game depicts the continuation of the Leningrad–Novgorod Offensive, as Soviet forces pushed toward the Narva River and established several bridgeheads on its western bank. The Soviet objective was to recover Estonia as a base for attacks against Finland and a possible invasion of East Prussia, while German forces mounted a determined defence of the strategically important Narva Isthmus.

Players command forces ranging from battalions to brigades across a map where each hex represents approximately 0.8 miles, or 1.3 kilometers. Soviet attempts to expand their footholds face German counterattacks, which historically destroyed the northern bridgeheads and reduced the one south of Narva before the front stabilized until July 1944.

Across The Narva uses a command activation chit-pull system and the same basic rules framework as Königsberg: The Soviet Attack on East Prussia, 1945. Its medium complexity and high solitaire playability make it suitable for players seeking a detailed historical campaign with flexible play options.
