Stomple

About this board game

Stomple is a strategic marble-stomping game for 2–6 players that plays in about 15 minutes. Players compete to outwit their opponents by stomping marbles, limiting escape routes, and protecting their own chances to win.

Each player has a stomper piece with a marble of a different color attached to its top. On a turn, a player may stomp any marble that is not in the outside ring. The stomp places the player’s marble on top of the chosen marble and knocks that marble underneath the board.

The game’s follow-up movement creates its strategic challenge. On the following turn, the player can stomp any adjacent marbles of the same color, or stomp a marble matching the color of their own stomper piece. Choosing where to stomp can open new opportunities while disrupting an opponent’s plans.

As the board changes beneath the players’ stompers, every choice can affect future stomps. Targeting an opponent’s marbles may be useful, but creating a position with no escape can be just as important. In Stomple, victory goes to the player who can outstomp the competition.
