Sirens

About this board game

Sirens is a compact micro-drafting game for 1–2 players that takes about 20 minutes to play. As rival sirens, you will draft cards and construct a song powerful enough to lure sailors away from a nearby ship.

Each game lasts 2 or 3 rounds. Every round contains two identical phases: players draft cards, then use the cards they kept to build their song. The heart of the game is deciding which cards to take and how to shape them into the most compelling musical lure.

Once the songs are built, each player’s song score is totaled across four conditions. The winning song attracts one of the three sailors, represented by taking a facedown card. That sailor brings its owner closer to victory, while the other siren must prepare to compete again in the next round.
