About this board game

Holiday Hills is a strategic holiday decorating game for 2–5 players, with games lasting about 60 minutes. Players take on the role of the Twinkle Taskforce, working with a human-and-elf duo to prepare Jingle Bell Square for the Winter Festival.

Each turn, push your sleigh along either the top or bottom path around town. Collect dice presents as you travel, then deliver them beneath trees. You can move as far down the street as you like, but the game lasts for only one lap, making every movement an important decision.

Park your sleigh on an action space in front of a home to add decorations to the town square. Along the way, pursue objective cards featuring decoration patterns and dice color combinations for the spaces beneath your trees. When you reach a player’s cottage in a corner of the board, take a break to draw a new objective card and look for additional scoring opportunities.

• Festive Trees: Score points when all four spots on a tree are filled.
• Full Trees: Earn points for having four dice presents beneath your trees.
• Tree majorities: The player with the most decorations on a tree scores additional points based on the highest-pipped die.
• Race bonus: The first player to complete the lap and return to their own cottage earns bonus cheer points.

Finishing first can provide a valuable bonus, while taking more time on the board may give other players opportunities to complete objectives. The double-sided board offers both Nice and Naughty modes, letting Holiday Hills bring either a gentler or spicier twist to the festive competition. The player with the most points earns the Key to the City.
