About this board game

Floral is a garden-building game for 1–5 players, with a playing time of about 25 minutes. Plant cards, fulfill tasks, and score points as you work to create a flourishing garden.

Nature is always changing, so each turn asks you to balance planting with the tasks available in the center of the table. Your goal is to fulfill the most tasks and finish with more points than your opponents.

At the start of your turn, you have a hand of 3 cards. Your four actions follow a clear sequence:

1. Expand your garden by one card, making sure that at least 2 flower beds are covered.
2. Fulfill a task from the center of the table to score points.
3. Add a card from your hand to the central pool of tasks.
4. Draw 2 cards.

Planting cards changes your garden while adding cards to the task pool helps shape the opportunities available in the game. Careful choices can help you meet the tasks you need, but the evolving garden means your plans may need to change along the way.

The game ends when the last card is drawn from the draw pile. At that point, the player who has scored the most points through fulfilled tasks wins. Whether you are playing Floral with a full group or taking on the game solo, every card contributes to the changing possibilities in your garden.
