About this board game

5er Finden is a 20-minute pattern-finding game for 1–4 players, played across five rounds with five dice. Each player races to discover different FIVE shapes on their own board and outlines them as they are found.

Every shape you select must contain all of the symbols shown on the rolled dice. That requirement turns each roll into a search for the right arrangement, while the limited space on your board makes every choice important. Finding a shape is only part of the challenge; you must also decide how to use the room that remains.

• Five dice provide the symbols to find.

• Different FIVE shapes award different amounts of points.

Time pressure keeps the search moving. The timer can be flipped at any moment to begin the end-of-round countdown, so waiting too long can be risky. Keep looking for useful shapes, but be ready to commit before the countdown catches up with you.

After five rounds, the scores are compared. The player with the most points wins, making each outlined shape and each decision about limited space matter throughout the game.

Released in 2019, 5er Finden combines dice-driven searching, spatial planning, and a race against the timer in a compact format. Its central puzzle is simple to understand: find shapes that contain every rolled symbol, outline them before time runs out, and build the highest score over the full five-round game.
