About this board game

Severton is a cooperative, scenario-based adventure game for 1–5 players, with sessions lasting about 90 minutes. Set in the magical atmosphere of old Prague, it follows a group of boys and girls as they investigate the secrets of Severton.

This old neighborhood is ruled by ruthless groups of Vonts, and every investigation brings new dangers. Players take on the roles of friends who must work together to progress through a series of stories, each presenting different challenges along the way.

Getting through Severton requires more than a single approach. When Vont patrols stand in the way, the group can choose how to respond:

• Avoid patrols and stay out of sight.
• Sneak around danger to continue the investigation.
• Talk your way out of trouble.
• Use your fists to gain the upper hand.

These choices bring the game’s adventurous stories to life, combining investigation with tense encounters and cooperative decision-making. Each scenario offers its own obstacles, giving the group new problems to solve as the story progresses.

Inspired by the Czech novel series by Jaroslav Foglar, Severton brings its source material’s mysterious neighborhood and youthful group of friends to the tabletop. Whether the group relies on discretion, persuasion, or force, every quest leads deeper into the shadows of this dangerous district.
