About this board game

Possess Me, Satan is a hidden-role ghost hunt for 5–16 players, with games lasting about 60 minutes. One player becomes Satan, the host and moderator, while the others receive secret roles and pursue competing goals.

Among the Investigators, Evil Agents, Loners, and Chaotic characters, one unlucky player is secretly possessed and becomes the Ghost. Each role brings unique abilities and motives, making every conversation, accusation, and decision potentially dangerous.

  • Investigators gather clues and search for the possessed player.
  • Evil Agents protect the Ghost and mislead the group.
  • Loners pursue personal objectives that may help or hinder either side.
  • Chaotic characters create confusion and paranoia without a true allegiance.

When Satan turns out the lights, the night phase begins. Everyone closes their eyes as Satan calls on players to use their abilities one by one. In the darkness, the Ghost chooses who lives and who dies, while special host abilities can shape the flow of the night.

After the lights come back on, Satan reveals whether anyone was killed. Living and dead players can share information, make accusations, and defend themselves. At any point during the day, the living may call for an exorcism vote; if the majority agrees, the accused player is eliminated.

Investigators win by identifying and exorcising the Ghost. The Ghost and Evil Agents win when only the Ghost and one other player remain, or when only evil is left. Loners win by completing their personal objectives, while Chaotics may have no victory condition at all. In Possess Me, Satan, logic and deception collide in a tense struggle to survive the haunting.
