About this board game

Pocket Master Builder is a 1–2 player board game with a 40-minute play time, released in 2022. As kingdom architects, players gather raw materials, construct buildings, and build walls to resist an invasion of northern barbarians.

On your turn, play a card to the kingdom area and place workers on the edge of that card. These workers help you collect the resources needed to develop your kingdom. After gathering materials, you may use them to construct a building and advance your plans.

The king’s reward can also speed up your progress, so using it properly is an important part of building efficiently. Alongside construction, walls contribute to your efforts against the northern barbarians and form part of the honors you can earn.

The game ends when one player has built six buildings. Once the final building is completed, each player totals their honors, or victory points, from several sources:

• Walls
• Donkey Cards
• Oracle Cards

The player with the most honors wins. Pocket Master Builder combines card placement, worker placement, resource collection, and construction in a compact kingdom-building contest for two players or a solo session.
