About this board game

Unreal Estate is a 20-minute fantasy city-building game for 2–5 players, combining drafting, hand management, and timing.

Choose buildings from the Proposal Board as you develop your cityscape. Will you select a Thieves’ Guild, an Elven Treehouse, a Magic Shop, or a Dwarven Tavern? Keep a close eye on the choices other players make as you build your collection.

Matching houses and scoring sets are at the heart of the game. Players score their sets against the Scrap Pile, but the right moment to score can be just as important as the buildings in hand. With the start player rotating, you must judge when to act before an opponent gets the chance to score first.

• Drafting: Pick fantasy buildings from the Proposal Board while watching other players’ selections.
• Hand management: Build and manage your collection as you pursue scoring sets.
• Timing: Choose when to score against the Scrap Pile before your opponents can claim the opportunity.
• Special buildings: Keep every player alert and add extra twists to the developing cityscape.

Special building cards keep all players on their toes, making each selection part of a larger plan. The rotating start player ensures that turn order is always relevant as players compete to score their sets.

In Unreal Estate, the game ends when the deck runs out. The player with the most points wins, so every drafted building, matched house, and carefully timed scoring opportunity can shape the final result.
