About this board game

303 is a simple war board game for two players, with games lasting around 15 minutes. Set during the Battle of Britain on August 31, 1940, it places one player in command of the Allied forces defending Great Britain and the other at the head of the attacking German Luftwaffe.

Numerous German aircraft formations are flying toward the capital, while the RAF has almost no reserves left. After a Polish 303 Squadron pilot shoots down a German bomber during a training flight, the squadron is sent into combat. Its pilots finally have the opportunity to confront the Luftwaffe and avenge Poland’s defeat from the previous year.

Each player has access to six different kinds of planes. Aerial duels are resolved with special dice, creating direct confrontations between the defending fighters and the attacking aircraft.

The Luftwaffe’s mission is to bomb London. The RAF must shoot down the bomber before the air raid succeeds.
