About this board game
Fantastic Park is a tile-laying and scoring game for 2–5 players, with rounds that take about 30 minutes to play. Players build a shared arrangement of domino-style tiles showing four types of animal, then discover which animals everyone wanted to see only when scoring begins.
At the start of each round, every player receives a hand of four or five tiles. Taking turns, players place a domino on the table. After the first tile, each new domino must lie adjacent to at least one side of an existing tile or be placed on top of two tiles, gradually shaping the shared animal landscape.
When everyone has only one domino left, all players reveal that final tile. For each animal type shown on it, find the largest orthogonally connected group of that animal in the arrangement. Score one point for every animal in that group.
- A duplicated animal on both halves of your revealed tile scores that animal twice.
- If an animal type on your tile appears on no one else’s tile, double the score for that animal.
- After scoring, return the revealed tile to your hand and draw tiles until your hand is full again.
Every placement helps create the groups that may later determine the score, while the final tile reveals which animals each player is claiming. The shared layout can make a large connected group valuable, but competing claims and unique animal choices can change the result.
After a certain number of rounds, the player with the most points wins. With its simple domino placement, hidden final choices, and animal-group scoring, Fantastic Park turns a shared tableau into a contest of timing and observation.
