The Italian Front: 1915-1918 is a two-player historical wargame covering the major campaigns between Italy and Austria-Hungary during World War I. Released in 2003, it plays in approximately 360 minutes and includes five separate scenarios, a campaign game, and links to other games in the series.

The scenarios follow the conflict from Italy’s entry into the war and the First Isonzo in May 1915 through the Strafexpedition of 1916 and the Tenth Isonzo in 1917. Players can also recreate the dramatic Caporetto offensive of October 1917, when German and Austro-Hungarian forces broke through the Italian front, or the final Albrecht & Radetzky offensive across the Piave in June 1918.

The game presents a front shaped by narrow routes, rugged mountain terrain, rivers, retreats, and exhausted armies. Italy seeks to expand its holdings toward Trieste, while Austria-Hungary attempts to contain, punish, and ultimately defeat its traditional enemy. The campaign also reflects the changing strategic situation as German forces enter the Italian Front and Italy rallies after the retreat to the Piave.
