Dig Down Dwarf

About this board game

Dig Down Dwarf is a dice game for 2–4 players that takes about 15 minutes to play. Each player becomes a dwarf chieftain competing to gather the most valuable collection of gems and claim the throne.

On your turn, draw two random gems from the bag and place them on the table. Then roll four six-sided dice. Each gem type requires a particular number sequence, so matching the right sequence lets you take all the gems of that type.

As the game continues, more gems appear on the table, giving you additional choices about what to mine. You may need to press your luck as you decide which gems to pursue and whether your dice can deliver the required result.

The growing selection of gems creates a changing set of opportunities from turn to turn. A successful roll can let you claim every gem of a matching type, while an unsuccessful attempt may leave you considering your next chance to mine.

When the bag runs out of gems, Dig Down Dwarf enters its final round. Players must do their best to snag the last gems, then the chieftain with the most valuable collection is crowned the new dwarf king.
