Aftershock: San Francisco & Venice is an area control game for 2–5 players, with play taking about 60 minutes. Released in 2019, it challenges players to help restore areas devastated by mega earthquakes.

The worst destruction has struck the San Francisco Bay area, creating an urgent need for rebuilding. Players spend money to acquire cards, then use those cards to bring people back into demolished areas and help return the region to its former glory.

Cards are central to the rebuilding effort. They can be used to:

• Increase population
• Build bridges
• Determine where aftershocks occur

Money must be spent wisely, since acquiring the right cards is essential to advancing your plans. Each decision can affect how populations return, where bridges are built, and which areas become more valuable.
