About this board game

Lawless is a fast-paced Wild West resource-management game for 2–6 players, playable in about 45 minutes. Each player takes charge of a ranch and aims to become the richest ranch owner in the West.

Building wealth starts with practical investments: buy land, acquire cattle, and hire cowboys to look after them. However, the frontier is far from peaceful, and managing a ranch means dealing with danger and opportunity at every turn.

• Expand your ranch with land and cattle.
• Hire cowboys to care for your holdings.
• Face Indian wars, bank robberies, stagecoach attacks, and saloon gunfights.
• Navigate cattle theft, gold rushes, and other action-filled events.

In this lawless world, the legal ways are usually not the best ways to get richer. The game combines resource management with action cards and event cards, creating a lively frontier setting where prosperity is tied closely to the trouble surrounding your ranch.

Originally released in 2003, Lawless was re-implemented by Les Fils de Samarande, released in 2005.
