Match Me!: What color is this? is a cooperative color-matching game for 2–6 players, played in about 20 minutes. Everyone works toward one shared goal: placing cards of the same colors in the same order.

At the start of a round, the lead player says a word from a subject card. Each player decides which color they think matches that word, then places a color card face-down. Since everyone has their own ideas, even a simple clue can lead to very different choices.

The hidden information is central to the challenge. Players continue responding to the lead player’s words until everyone has placed five cards face-down. Then the cards are turned face-up and checked to see whether the group matched successfully.

If all the players’ cards show the same colors in the same order, everyone wins. The game can be played at different skill levels, and it becomes harder as you play, giving the group a changing test of shared interpretation.

For a different experience, Match Me!: What color is this? also allows you to choose the difficulty before starting. Play an easy game for a more approachable challenge, or choose a very hard game when the group is ready to test how closely its color associations align.
