About this board game
Dice of Crowns is a dice-driven game for 2–6 players, with a playing time of about 20 minutes. Released in 2016, it puts every player in the struggle to claim a vacant throne.
The old king is dead, and the crown is available—but every other house in the kingdom wants it too. Players must take matters into their own hands, accepting that each treacherous step toward the throne depends on a roll of the dice.
On a turn, a player rolls up to seven dice. Each die represents the results of scheming to claim the throne, while matching dice produce varying effects. The roll is the heart of the game, turning each turn into another attempt to advance a claim to power.

Victory in Dice of Crowns is straightforward: earn three Claim Tokens before anyone else. The first player to reach that total is crowned the new ruler, bringing the contest between the rival houses to an end.
With its royal succession theme, dice-based turns, and clearly defined winning goal, Dice of Crowns offers a compact contest for the crown. Gather your nerve, roll the dice, and see whether your house can secure enough Claim Tokens to rule the kingdom.
