FateFlip: By Royal Decree is a decision-driven adventure for 1–99 players, played in about 35 minutes. Step into the role of a firstborn prince and determine what kind of legacy you will leave behind.

From your earliest years, every action matters. Your decisions may bring justice and prosperity to the kingdom, earning your people’s hope and adoration—or lead them to yearn for your downfall. The consequences of your choices can appear immediately or emerge later in the story.

The adventure unfolds through cards, with each decision guiding the story in a different direction. Read the text on the upper half of a card, choose from the available options, and adjust the parameters on the counter according to your decision.

1. Read the situation and available choices on the card.
2. Choose an option and adjust the counter’s parameters.
3. Flip and move the card as instructed by the icons to discover the result.

Each choice becomes part of your royal story, with outcomes revealed either right away or at a later point. The structure encourages you to follow the consequences of your decisions and see where your rule leads.
