About this board game

Slaughterball is a competitive sci-fi board game for 2–4 players, with matches taking about 60 minutes. Teams of genetically engineered super-athletes clash in a brutal steel pit, scoring points by making goals and inflicting carnage.

Choose the mode that fits your game. Scrimmage offers the quickest experience, using identical rookie teams and a subset of the rules to help you learn. Exhibition games expand the possibilities with skills, edges, and unique professional teams.

For a longer challenge, League games add support staff and let you improve your team across a full season of games. Each mode gives you a different way to experience the sport, from learning the basics to managing a developing team over time.

Every match combines goal-scoring with the threat of injury, penalties, and spectacular reversals. Risk-based scoring forces meaningful decisions, while the game’s extensive options create room for distinct strategies and memorable defeats.
