About this board game
Warriors of Jogu: Feint is a two-player card game with an approximately 30-minute play time, released in 2017. Players take turns playing units into one of five locations, numbered from 2 to 6, while trying to anticipate where the decisive battle will take place.
At the end of each round, battle occurs at only one or two locations. Each player knows one of the two battle locations, but their opponent knows the other, creating a contest of incomplete information. Units positioned at a battle location contribute their strength multiplied by that location’s value.
The combined contributions from a player’s units form their strategy rating for the round. The player with the higher rating wins the round and gains one victory point, while the loser also suffers a morale loss based on the units they deployed.
- Play units across five numbered locations.
- Use strength and location values to build your strategy rating.
- Make decisions with only partial knowledge of the battle locations.
- Balance deployment against the morale penalty for losing.
Deploying too many units can be dangerous: if you lose a round, the units you played to the board determine how much morale you lose. If a player runs out of morale, the game ends immediately and the other player wins.
If both players still have morale after seven rounds, the player with the most victory points wins. A tie is possible through special abilities; in that case, the player who won the final victory point in the final round takes the game. Warriors of Jogu: Feint combines tactical placement, concealed information, and careful morale management in a focused head-to-head card game.
