Lock ‘n Load Tactical: Heroes Against the Red Star is a complete Lock ‘n Load Tactical core game for two players, with scenarios designed for approximately 240 minutes of play. Set during the first days of World War III in 1985, it takes the conflict from West Germany to Paris.

Command a powerful Soviet force equipped with T-80, T-72, T-64, and T-55 tanks, Hind helicopters, infantry, paratroopers, and BMPs. Soviet units bring weapons such as RPGs, RPKs, and RPDs to the battlefield, while French forces include conscripts, the Foreign Legion, paratroopers, and plenty of tanks.

French commanders can match AMX30 B-2 tanks against the best Russian armor, direct Jaguar airstrikes, and scout enemy positions with ERC-90 and AMX 10RC armored cars. The game also features anti-tank guided missiles, advanced armor, thermal and night sights, fixed-wing air support, and other elements of modern warfare.
