Hostage Rescue Squad: A Solitaire Game is a one-player tactical game designed for a 40-minute session, released in 2022. You control three HRS Operators as they attempt daring missions to rescue hostages from critical situations.

The Hostage Rescue Squad is a fictional elite tactical unit deployed when negotiation has failed or is not an option. The hostiles holding the hostages are dangerous and desperate, and they will stop at nothing to prevent the mission from succeeding.

This is a solitaire game in which the book provides the “enemy.” Stealth will often be the key tactic, but the operation may also demand sudden bursts of action at exactly the right moments. The result is a focused rescue scenario built around difficult tactical decisions.

Game counters are included at the end of the book. You can cut them out or copy them onto card to make the game quicker to play, while maps can be photocopied for repeated use.
