Magic: The Gathering – Game Night 2019 is a card game for 2–5 players with an advertised play time of 120 minutes. This 2019 edition and reimplementation includes five monochromatic, starter-level decks and everything needed to play with all of them.

Each deck has a distinctive card composition. Half of every deck comes from the Magic Core Set 2020 expansion, while the other half consists of reprints from a range of earlier sets. Every deck also includes one legendary creature card created specifically for this set.

The box is designed to provide a complete starting point for playing with the included decks. Alongside the cards, it contains the life counters and tokens required for the game.
