Lock ‘n Load Tactical: Heroes of the Bitter Harvest is a 1–2-player East Front tactical game with an approximately 240-minute play time, set during the German summer offensive of 1942.

As part of the Lock ‘n Load Tactical series, this module brings the fighting for southern Russia to the tabletop. Its impulse-based turns create a fluid flow of action, while squad-level play, individual heroics, armor, and special rules bring the battle to life.

German Landser, Mechanized, and Armored formations clash with Soviet Line, Guards, and NKVD Divisions. The campaign’s battlefields range from the city of Voronezh through Rostov and toward the Caucasus Mountains, continuing along the Silk Road at Khulkhuta and into the outskirts of Stalingrad.
