About this board game

Amulet is an adventure board game for 1–5 players with a listed play time of 90 minutes. Each player takes on the role of a monster hunter seeking to stop the forces of evil emerging from the ruins of a dark castle.

Across several days, players move their character figures to different locations and choose from the actions available there. The neighborhood becomes a changing field of opportunity as hunters obtain skills and useful items, repair their equipment, carry out tasks, and face dangerous monsters.

• Use character-specific equipment, including amulet, weapon, and item tokens.
• Visit locations to gain skills, collect useful items, repair equipment, and complete tasks.
• Fight monsters in a dynamic combat puzzle shaped by weapon and item selection.

Combat requires players to select weapons and items according to the monster’s type. These choices influence the chances of winning the fight and can also affect the potential spoils of war, making each encounter a focused decision rather than a simple contest.

Players earn Victory Points by defeating monsters and successfully carrying out tasks. The ultimate goal is to rid the neighborhood of evil, but only the hunter who performs best will prevail. When the game ends, the player with the most Victory Points wins.

With its character choices, location-based actions, task completion, equipment management, and puzzle-like battles, Amulet presents a monster-hunting adventure that unfolds day by day.
