About this board game

Snowbirds is a solo board game for one player that takes about 15 minutes, challenging you to guide a flock of snow geese from North to South during their annual migration.

Each journey is randomly constructed, creating a route where every location demands careful decisions. Your flock must stay healthy, well-fed, and moving forward while you manage the limited actions available to you.

Action cards can serve several different purposes, but each is a single-use resource. You must weigh competing needs: will you spend a card to forage for food, or will you fly on an empty belly and preserve that option for later?

Every flight brings a roll of the dice and the risk of exhaustion. You can offset that exhaustion by sacrificing future flights, but doing so may make the rest of the migration more difficult. Meanwhile, hunger and fatigue remain constant threats as the flock presses onward.

Your objective in Snowbirds is simple to describe but difficult to achieve: reach the South before you run out of actions and before your flock becomes too worn out to continue.
