About this board game

Herdeiros do Khan is a board game for 2–5 players, with games lasting about 120 minutes. Set in an aging Mongol empire, it challenges each heir to prove their valor by sacking and conquering ancient Asian cities in the race to become the next Khan.

The goal is to secure votes in the Kurultai council. Players gather sacked treasures, complete the demands of the councilors, and use their yurts to control the empire’s three main regions. When the council is filled, the player with the most votes wins.

On a turn, each player chooses one action on their board. These actions let heirs move around Asia, collect tributes from provinces, sack cities for treasures, upgrade their actions, and place yurts across the empire.
