About this board game

Cortex + Challenge is a game for 2–6 players that tests memory, cognition, and sensory perception in approximately 15 minutes.

Players face a range of challenges designed to test different abilities. Alongside memory and cognition tasks, the game includes touch challenges featuring texture cards. During these challenges, players must guess what they are feeling, adding a sensory element to the experience.

Winning challenges allows players to add pieces to their brain 3D puzzle. The objective is to complete this puzzle before the other players, making each successful challenge part of the path toward victory.

With its combination of memory, cognition, and sensory perception, Cortex + Challenge offers several ways to test your abilities. The texture cards give the game a distinctive physical feature, asking players to identify sensations without relying only on sight.

Released in 2018, the game contains 170 new cards, including 9 new challenges. It can also be mixed with Cortex 1, Cortex 2, and/or Cortex 3, allowing these cards and challenges to be used alongside content from those games.
