About this board game

Warhammer 40,000: Fireteam is a two-player board game with an approximately 45-minute play time, following five Ultramarines Assault Intercessors on a desperate mission behind enemy lines.

Squad Gideon has answered an urgent distress call in the distant Bakhar Sector. After making planetfall on Zanzamon, Sergeant Gideon and his men discover that the world is an ancient tomb world belonging to the Necrons of the infamous Szarkhan Dynasty.

The squad’s worst fears are quickly confirmed as the planet’s malevolent denizens begin to stir. Without backup, the five Assault Intercessors must fight through hordes of awakening Necron Warriors and prevent the Szarkhans from carrying out their nefarious plans.

  • Setting: the ancient Necron tomb world of Zanzamon

Warhammer 40,000: Fireteam places the action at a critical moment: a small Space Marine squad is isolated deep in hostile territory, while an ancient enemy awakens around them. Every step brings Sergeant Gideon and his men closer to the Necrons standing between them and their objective.

For fans of the Warhammer 40,000 universe, this is a focused clash between the legendary Ultramarines Chapter and the relentless forces of a Necron dynasty.
