About this board game

Sushi Boat is a conveyor-belt sushi game for 2–5 players, with games lasting about 75 minutes.

In this all-you-can-eat competition, a master sushi chef creates delicacies and places them on the revolving belt around the board. On each turn, players choose from several actions, grabbing the plates that look most appealing as they pass by.

• Take plates of sushi from the revolving belt.
• Pay staff tiles to use their effects.
• Buy side dishes.
• Build a stack of eaten Plates in front of you.

Your growing collection is central to scoring. You earn points by eating from matching Plates, while also receiving points for eating a wide variety of sushi types. Choosing what to take is only part of the challenge, since other players are also building their own collections from the same belt.

Keep your attention on the table, however, because you never know when someone will start a Wasabi Challenge. Staff tiles and side dishes add further options as you work toward the highest score.

The game ends when the side dish deck runs out. Players then calculate their victory points, and the player with the highest score wins. With its sushi belt, plate stacking, staff effects, side dishes, and sudden Wasabi Challenges, Sushi Boat turns conveyor-belt dining into a focused tabletop contest.
